Day Six

So I've been trading the fav. horses for a couple of days and I have had more success, I found it hard in he 80+ horses to make a steady money because I was making few ticks for very little money and if someone with a huge backroll could lay/back that horse for 20 ticks and I would loose a day's worth (or more) in a single trade.

With the fav. there is a lot of liquidity so it's not so easy to manipulate the horse's price, if we are patient and confident we can make 3 or 4 ticks on each trade, making it much more profitable.

P.S: It's very important to stay out of the lay side of the fav. close to the post time! If the race goes live we can loose a lot of ticks in seconds.

Things have been pretty calm I've learned a few things! I'm now trading on the favs since the "bad horses" are not moving at all! And if someone with a big bankrolll whats to, he change the market!

I've lost some money because I was laying the fav. close to post! Never again! Only backing if I want to trade close to the post. The favs. are a bit easier to predict due to the liquidity.

Day #3

So yesterday I had my first loosing day :S

Bitter taste that is, and it was for stupid stuff like Skype :| I gotta get more focused.

The markets have been with a lot of liquidity! (even 100+ horses are trading like crazy). It's been hard but it has been fun learning this difficult market.
Today is a new day let's see how it goes!

Today I've had some personal stuff to tend to, so I was only able to start trading around 5PM so I had only (almost) 2 hours of trading... It wasn't a bad day at all.

Made some changes on my setup! Now I have 4 Ladders at the same time, one for the favorite horse so I can have a better idea how the "bad" horses are going to move since I pre-race trade in these.

Today the markets had  a lot of liquidity.

Edit: So that's it 17.15 the UK markets have closed for today.

I feel like I'm starting all over again, not that I was a pro before, but I feel like i'm completely new, I've been watching some Youtube videos today before the races, trying to absorb as much info as I can.

I'm glad that I finished the day with a profit but I would like to, at least, finish the day with a Stake in profit (5€)

I'm Back in the Saddle Again!

Good Morning!

So today I'm starting a new count, I'm going to publish this as the "Day #1" I've managed to get time to be Active everyday! So i'll be trading everyday and posting the results and thoughts.
